Industry Status
Fuburg and its subsidiaries are primarily engaged in the manufacturing and sales of paper-based sanitary products such as adult and baby diapers, wet wipes, and other hygiene products. These products are essential daily necessities and offer advantages such as disposable use, no need for washing, and convenience. With the increase in national income, improvement of living standards, and the formation of good hygiene habits, there is a steady trend of increasing demand for these products.
A.Series for Adult Nursing and Care
In 1985, Fuburg pioneered the introduction of adult diapers into the domestic market, marking the first of its kind in Taiwan. With the population structure gradually aging, elderly welfare has increasingly gained attention. Senior-related industries, such as retirement homes and nursing facilities, have rapidly developed, and silver-aged consumer goods have become a focal point for many companies.

As chronic illnesses among the elderly increase year by year, the number of people experiencing incontinence has also grown. According to the Health Promotion Administration of Taiwan’s Ministry of Health and Welfare, 77.3% of middle-aged and elderly individuals aged 58 and above suffer from at least one chronic disease, a 0.2% increase from previous surveys. Among them, approximately 40.2% have experienced mobility limitations for more than six months due to health issues, a 9% increase from previous surveys. This indicates that the demand for adult care products among elderly individuals with limited mobility will continue to rise.
According to data from the Taiwan Paper Industry Association, the total sales volume of adult diapers in 2024 reached approximately 621 million pieces, representing a 12.5% growth from the previous year. Domestic sales grew by 12.4%, while exports increased by 13.1%. Statistics from the Ministry of the Interior show that by the end of 2024, Taiwan’s elderly population aged 65 and above reached 4.489 million, a 4.5% increase compared to 2023. This trend indicates that the domestic market for adult diaper products will continue to grow.
In addition to adult diapers, pads, and underpads, recent changes in societal attitudes mean that consumers are no longer as hesitant as before to purchase and use incontinence products. To make daily life more convenient and comfortable, they are more willing to adopt newer types of incontinence products.
As a result, the market acceptance of pants-type diapers and light incontinence pads has been steadily increasing. Products catering to various degrees of incontinence have been introduced, with demand for light incontinence products growing year by year. Light incontinence products have now reached a market share in terms of sales revenue comparable to that of adult diapers.

B.Infant Diapers and Pet Products Market
Diapers are essential products for every newborn baby. However, the domestic birth rate has been declining year by year. According to statistics from the Ministry of the Interior, the number of newborns in Taiwan in 2024 was approximately 134,900, representing a 0.5% decrease compared to 2023. While infant diapers are a mature product category with many brands in the market and fierce competition, the effects of a declining birth rate have also led to increased parental willingness to spend on their children. As a result, manufacturers have focused on highlighting product advantages such as ultra-thin design, excellent breathability, wetness indicators, superior absorbency, and ease of movement to appeal to parents.
In contrast to the continuous decline in newborn numbers, the number of pets kept in Taiwan has been increasing steadily. According to data from the Department of Animal Protection, the number of registered pets grew from 2.11 million in 2021 to 2.8 million in 2023, an increase of approximately 32.7%, and is projected to reach 4 million by 2025. Statistics from the Ministry of Finance show that sales in the pet-related industry have surged in recent years, growing from NT$26.58 billion in 2018 to NT$38.73 billion in 2022, an increase of about 45.7%. The market scale is expected to reach NT$40 billion by 2024.

C. Wet Wipe Products
Wet wipe products are innovatively developed from various aspects including target users, packaging, materials, formulations, and functions. In terms of new materials, composite materials will be introduced, enhancing both surface fineness and dirt absorption capabilities. The target users have expanded beyond adult care, baby use, and antibacterial function products, to also include pet wipes and household cleaning wipes. By broadening the application areas, the sales performance of wet wipe products is increased.
D. Eco-friendly Material Products
In response to the public’s growing attention to environmental issues, Fuburg incorporates eco-friendly materials in product design. Currently, eco-friendly adult diapers have been launched, reducing the use of plastic materials to contribute to protecting the Earth. In the future, eco-friendly pull-up diapers, pads, and care mats will be gradually introduced, providing a complete eco-friendly product line for adult care.
E. Other
Fuburg also has new product and service development plans for other women’s products, medical healthcare products, long-term care assistive devices and equipment, as well as long-term care system services. In response to the growing emphasis on medical healthcare and the increasing demand for long-term care products and services, the company will continue to develop and offer related products to establish new sources of business growth.
